One of the big ideas at CTK is that every believer is a minister.  Another way of putting that is,  “If God has chosen you, He has chosen you for a purpose.”

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

In many churches if you ask, “who is the minister around here?” everyone would point to the pastor.  At CTK, we say, “I am, or he is, or she is, or we all are.”  And the potential of that answer is huge.  There are no limitations on how many people we might reach if everyone starts their own ministry in their circle of influence.  How do start your own ministry?

  1. Hear from God.
  2. Proceed prayerfully.
  3. Do your homework.
  4. Share the vision with others.
  5. Build a team.
  6. Organize.
  7. Set a start date.
  8. Find a venue – think “outside the box.”
  9. Promote your ministry.
  10. Proceed under the Spirit’s direction.

At CTK one of our values is empowerment.  We want to say “Yes, Sure, You Bet” to what God wants to do in your life.
